Illya Kuryakin
Illya started off as a minor role in spy series The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
but after thousands of protests from drooling female fans he was upgraded
to the status of co-star with Napoleon Solo, the main character.
The good looks and charm of the blond Russian agent, and the witty banter
between him and Solo, assured the show of an audience, while Illya's brains,
bravery and coolness proved invaluable in the fight against enemy organisation
Thrush.
