Maxwell Smart
Max Smart, Agent 86 for Control, is one of the most dedicated spies around.
Ploughing doggedly through mission after mission with the aid of his devoted
partner Agent 99, some fairly outlandish gadgetry (would you believe a set
of water wings with a built-in revolver?) and almost unbelievable luck, he
manages to get his man on almost every occasion, despite his many
blunders. Thanks to Smart, the world is rid of such ingenious villains as
Bronzefinger, Doctor Yes, the Groovy Guru and the Claw.
I'm sure we can all sleep more easily knowing that.
